SGM-PR50 is the smallest rod-type magnetostrictive position sensor in the SGM range, with a hex head for hydraulic cylinders where space is very limited. It is rated 35 MPa continuous (70 MPa peak), measures 25–4000 mm, is sealed to IP68 and outputs analog or RS485.

Part number prefix SGM stands for the SEGMENsensor magnetostrictive range; the full ordering code is explained below and in the datasheet.
