Export Controls & End-Use Restrictions

Prohibited Applications

The purchase, resale, transfer, or use of SEGMENsensor products in any of the following applications is strictly prohibited:

• Military or defense equipment, systems, or infrastructure
• Weapons, ammunition, or ordnance systems
• Military vehicles, vessels, or aircraft
• Aerospace or commercial aviation systems (including aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and launch vehicles)
• Nuclear, chemical, biological, or radiological weapons programs
• Any application subject to arms export control regulations (including but not limited to EAR, ITAR, or equivalent national regulations)

Customer Representation

By placing an order, the customer represents and warrants that the purchased products will not be used in, resold for, or transferred to any prohibited application listed above. SEGMENsensor reserves the right to cancel any order, refuse shipment, or void any warranty if it determines that products are intended for a prohibited use.

No Exceptions

No employee, agent, or representative of SEGMENsensor has authority to waive or modify these end-use restrictions. Inquiries for military, defense, aerospace, or aviation applications will not be accepted or processed.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using www.segmensensor.com ("the Website") or placing an order with SEGMEN Industrial Development Co., Ltd. ("SEGMENsensor", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or place orders.

4. Products & Specifications

Product specifications, datasheets, and technical data published on this Website are provided for reference purposes. While we strive for accuracy, specifications may change without notice as part of our continuous improvement process.

For OEM and custom orders, binding specifications are agreed in writing prior to production. Standard products are subject to our published datasheet specifications at the time of order confirmation.

5. Orders & Quotes

• All RFQ submissions via our website are non-binding inquiries until a formal quotation is issued by SEGMENsensor
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless otherwise stated
• Orders are accepted only upon written order confirmation from SEGMENsensor
• Minimum order quantities (MOQ) apply as stated per product line (standard MOQ: 10 pcs)
• Sample orders (1–5 pcs) are available for evaluation; sample lead time is 5–7 business days

6. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are quoted in USD or EUR unless otherwise agreed
• All prices are EXW Shenzhen (Incoterms 2020) unless otherwise specified
• Standard payment terms: 50% deposit, 50% before shipment (T/T bank transfer)
• If tooling or molds are required: tooling cost 100% prepaid; tooling cost is refunded once the order reaches a certain quantity – to be discussed per product.
• Payment terms may vary for established customers with credit accounts
• SEGMENsensor reserves the right to adjust prices due to material cost changes; such changes apply to future orders only

7. Delivery & Risk of Loss

• Standard production lead time: 3–5 weeks from order confirmation and deposit receipt
• Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing
• Risk of loss and title passes to buyer upon delivery to the first carrier (EXW)
• SEGMENsensor is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, force majeure, or factors beyond our control

8. Warranty

SEGMENsensor warrants that products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, under normal use and storage conditions.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or neglect
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by operating outside specified environmental parameters
• Unauthorised modifications or repairs

Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect. SEGMENsensor's sole obligation under this warranty is, at our discretion, to repair or replace the defective product or refund the purchase price.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• SEGMENsensor's total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profit, loss of production, or business interruption
• Information on this Website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, images, product designs, logos, datasheets, CAD drawings, and software — is the property of SEGMEN Industrial Development Co., Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may download technical documents (datasheets, manuals) for your own evaluation purposes only. Commercial reproduction or redistribution requires our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from product purchases shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation.

If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court (SIAC) for binding arbitration in accordance with its rules. The language of arbitration shall be English.

For EU consumers: nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website or placement of orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
