Our Story

From a Shenzhen Workshop to a Global Sensor Supplier

SEGMENsensor — operated by Segmen Industrial Development Co., Ltd. — was founded in 2019 by a team of measurement engineers who saw a gap in the market: precision industrial sensors that met international standards but could be ordered with the flexibility and speed that OEM manufacturers needed.

What began as a specialist manufacturer of liquid level sensors in Shenzhen has grown into a full-line industrial sensor company with six product lines — including proximity sensors, LVDT displacement sensors, magnetostrictive sensors, pressure transmitters, and ultrasonic flow meters — serving clients in oil & gas, semiconductor, chemical, and water treatment industries across more than 50 countries. Every sensor is designed, tested, and shipped from our own ISO 9001-certified facility.

2019

Founded in Shenzhen. Core product: float-type liquid level sensors for industrial tanks.

2007

Expanded into inductive proximity sensors and LVDT displacement sensors. First EU export customers.

2013

ISO 9001 certification obtained. Launched magnetostrictive sensor line and ATEX-rated products.

Yes. Our application engineers respond within 24 hours for sensor selection guidance, wiring diagrams, and technical questions. 3D CAD files (STEP format) are provided on request. A dimensioned engineering drawing is provided for OEM custom orders before production starts — changes are free until you sign off.
