Liquid Level Sensors
Optical, capacitive, ultrasonic, magnetic float, guided-wave radar & hydrostatic. Water, oil, chemical and food-grade applications.
SEGMENsensor designs and builds level, position, pressure and flow sensors for machine builders, hydraulic cylinder makers, appliance OEMs and system integrators — custom outputs, connectors and private label, produced in our Shenzhen factory with a capacity of 50,000 units per month. Every sensor is tested before it ships.
Built for makers of fire-fighting equipment, hydraulic systems and construction machinery: high-pressure types sense the piston directly inside the cylinder, high-temperature types handle valve and mechanism position near heat sources. Specified per project, with qualification samples and production planned around your annual volume.
SEGMENsensor is an industrial sensor manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, founded in 2019, that builds liquid level, proximity, LVDT, magnetostrictive, pressure and ultrasonic flow sensors for OEM equipment builders in more than 30 countries. Every product line supports OEM customisation — outputs, connectors, cable lengths and private label — with qualification samples from one piece and production planned around the customer’s annual volume.

This is SEGMENsensor: industrial sensors, built and tested on the production line. From laser welding to signal checks, every sensor is tested before it ships. Six product lines: magnetostrictive, liquid level, proximity, pressure, LVDT and ultrasonic flow. SEGMENsensor is the brand of SEGMEN (Shenzhen) Industrial Development, founded in Shenzhen in 2019. Our engineering team has 20+ years of sensor experience. Magnetostrictive position sensors start with the electronics: boards are soldered by hand, then the head, cable and connector are assembled. Rods and flanges are laser-welded, and the return signal of each sensor is checked on an oscilloscope. On a linear test bench, the magnet travels along the rod while software checks the reading over the full stroke. The nameplate is then laser-marked. Strokes run from 25 to 8000 mm. For liquid level, float switch stems and floats are injection-moulded, and the reed switch inside is formed and trimmed automatically. Each stem is filled and sealed, then every switch runs on a multi-station test rig as the floats move up and down. Sealed stainless steel assemblies are pressurised and held under water to check for leaks. Proximity switches are built on automatic assembly machines, where each sensing element is positioned and fitted. They are aged in a high-temperature test chamber, and dedicated test stations check the switching function and output of every sensor. Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters are run on a water flow test line, with stainless steel tanks and pipe runs of several sizes. Fixed and compact meters are mounted on the line, and their readings are checked with water flowing through the pipe. In the field, the transducers clamp onto the outside of the pipe: no pipe cutting and no shutdown. Pressure transmitters, pressure switches and LVDT displacement sensors complete our core range. Working with us is simple: OEM volume supply, samples in 5–7 working days, production in 3–5 weeks, and a reply within 24 hours. SEGMENsensor. Datasheets and quotes at segmensensor.com
