The SEGMENsensor U13 is a compact one-piece clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter for small pipes, sold by pipe size from DN15 to DN40. Its PP glass-fibre housing resists acids and alkalis, it outputs 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus, and it ships from our factory within 2 weeks of payment.

Which transducer do I need?
Each U13 fits one pipe size, so pick the part number that matches your pipe's outside diameter. The flow range for each size is shown on its row. Add the B1H sensor in step 3 for liquid up to +105 °C. For any other size, email us.

How do I install the U13?
The U13 clamps onto the pipe in one piece and needs only two settings in the menu.
- Fit the coupling pad
Remove the transparent protective film from the coupling pad on the meter.
- Place the bottom clamp
Fit the bottom clamp against the pipe, then insert the guide shafts of the meter into the matching holes.
- Tighten the screws
Lock the screws to fix the meter on the pipe. Do not over-tighten: that can damage the coupling pad.
- Set OD and wall thickness
Enter the pipe outside diameter and wall thickness in the menu. The inner diameter must not fall below the lower limit for that size.

- We ship from our factory in China within 2 weeks of payment. Every meter ships in its own box.
- UPS delivers door to door, usually in 3–5 working days after dispatch. The UPS shipping cost is shown at checkout and paid with your order.
- Import duty, VAT or GST and any customs fees are not included in the price or the checkout total. You pay them as the importer in your country, and the rates differ by country.
- We help with customs clearance: the commercial invoice and packing list go with the shipment and by email, and our engineers answer customs questions about the product.
- Prices on this page are per unit, excluding shipping and import duties, for 1–9 units. For 10 units or more, email info@segmensensor.com and we will recalculate the price for your quantity.
Frequently asked questions
Which U13 do I need?
Measure the outside diameter of your pipe and pick the matching size: DN15 for 18–23 mm, DN20 for 23–28 mm, DN25 for 28–33 mm, DN32 for 33–44 mm and DN40 for 44–52 mm. Each meter fits one pipe size. For any other size, email us.
How is the U13 different from the U12?
The U13 is the smaller meter, in an acid- and alkali-resistant PP glass-fibre housing, sold by pipe size, with 4–20 mA and RS485 as standard. The U12 reads ±2% (±1% after calibration), lets you choose two of four outputs and reaches DN65 with an upgrade.
What does the price include?
The price is per unit and includes the U13 meter for your pipe size, coupling pads, clamp screws and hex key, a 2 m M12 signal cable, the user manual and a factory calibration report. UPS shipping is added at checkout. Import duty and tax are not included; you pay them in your country on import.
What power does the U13 need?
A 20–28 V DC supply, for example a standard 24 V DC control-panel supply.
Do I pay import duty when the meter arrives?
Yes. Import duty, VAT or GST and any customs fees are paid by you as the importer, and the rates depend on your country. UPS or your customs broker will ask for payment before or at delivery. We send the commercial invoice and packing list with the shipment and by email, and help with customs questions about the product.
When will my order arrive?
We ship from our factory within 2 weeks of payment. UPS then usually takes 3–5 working days to deliver. The configurator shows an estimated delivery date before you pay.

Yes. For 10 units or more, email info@segmensensor.com with the part number and quantity. Our engineers recalculate the price for your quantity and reply by email.
