Official product documentation for SEGMENsensor clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters. All PDFs include full technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and installation guides.
Five models covering fixed wall-mount, integrated clamp-on, and portable handheld applications — all engineered and branded by SEGMENsensor.
Standard and high-performance clamp-on flowmeter for water, oil, chemicals and HVAC applications. Available in normal temperature, high temperature, anti-corrosion, and split-type configurations. Pipe diameter DN15–DN6000.

Large-pipe split-type clamp-on flowmeter based on SEGX3. Transducer mounts externally on pipes DN250 and above with a separate display/transmitter unit. Ideal for industrial pipelines where inline cutting is not possible.

Enhanced mid-range flowmeter with improved signal processing and wider temperature range. Supports PTFE (Teflon) anti-corrosion lining. One-piece and split configurations available for DN15–DN6000.

Mid-range large-pipe split-type clamp-on flowmeter based on SEGX3M. Higher-resolution display with advanced data logging. Split-type design separates transducer from the control unit for installations requiring remote readout.

Premium-tier flowmeter with advanced DSP algorithms, wider velocity range, and longer battery life for portable use. Ideal for demanding industrial environments including petrochemical, power generation, and water treatment.

High-end large-pipe split-type clamp-on flowmeter based on SEGX5. Full-colour touchscreen display, multi-language interface, on-board data logging. Suitable for large industrial pipelines, power plants and municipal water networks.

Clamp-on transit-time ultrasonic energy meter for measuring thermal energy (heating/cooling) in HVAC, district cooling, and industrial process systems. Measures both flow rate and temperature differential — no pipe cutting required.
Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters measure liquid flow velocity using the transit-time principle: two ultrasonic transducers, mounted externally on opposite sides of the pipe, alternately transmit and receive ultrasonic pulses. The difference in signal travel time between the upstream and downstream directions is precisely proportional to the average flow velocity inside the pipe — with no contact with the liquid and no pressure drop.
Because the transducers clamp onto the outside of the pipe, installation requires no cutting, no welding, no draining, and no process shutdown. This makes clamp-on meters ideal for retrofitting existing pipelines, verifying meter calibration, and monitoring heat transfer across heat exchangers.
The documents available on this page cover models serving a broad range of industrial and commercial applications:
Municipal water distribution, irrigation flow monitoring, effluent discharge metering on DN80–DN3000 steel, ductile iron, and HDPE pipes.
Chilled water and hot water loop balancing, heat meter integration (BTU), building energy management systems (BEMS), and cooling tower water audits.
Fuel oil, diesel, lube oil, and process liquid monitoring. ATEX-rated housing available for Zone 2 classified areas. Suitable for DN50–DN600 carbon steel and stainless pipes.
Non-invasive monitoring of CIP cleaning circuits, water for injection (WFI), and beverage process lines where hygienic fittings make inline meters impractical.
Ultra-pure water (UPW) flow monitoring in fab facilities. No wetted parts eliminates contamination risk. Compatible with PFA-lined, quartz, and stainless pipes.
Handheld units for field commissioning, leak detection surveys, and energy audits. Battery-powered for 12-hour fieldwork with data logging and RS232 export.
