About Pressure Transmitter Downloads

This page provides the complete documentation library for SEGMENsensor pressure transmitters and pressure switches. Available documents include product datasheets, CE declarations of conformity, UKCA certificates, RoHS compliance statements, ATEX/IECEx explosion-proof certificates, 4–20 mA and 0–10 V wiring diagrams, dimensional drawings, and zero/span adjustment guides.

Engineers use these documents during P&ID design, instrumentation loop design, compliance documentation for process plants, and PLC/SCADA integration. The dimensional drawings specify process connections (G1/4, G1/2, NPT), housing dimensions, and M12 connector pinouts. Wiring diagrams show 2-wire and 3-wire configurations for both current loop and voltage output models.

All documents are free to download — no registration required. For ATEX certificates, calibration certificates, or material traceability documents not listed here, contact info@segmensensor.com with your model number for delivery within 24 hours.

Application Notes

Pressure transmitters convert process pressure into a standardised electrical signal for monitoring and control. The following applications represent the most common integration scenarios in SEGMENsensor engineering documentation.

Hydraulic System Pressure Monitoring: SEP series transmitters with G1/4 or G1/2 process connections monitor circuit pressure in hydraulic power units, mobile machinery, and press brakes. The 4–20 mA two-wire output connects directly to PLC analogue input cards with standard loop power from the controller.

Water Treatment and HVAC Pressure Control: Stainless steel pressure transmitters monitor pump inlet and outlet pressure, filter differential pressure, and system pressure in water treatment plants and HVAC systems. Wide temperature compensation (−40°C to +85°C) ensures accuracy across seasonal operating conditions.

Process Safety Pressure Switching: SYK102 mechanical pressure switches with adjustable set-points provide reliable binary outputs for overpressure alarms and pump cut-off in pneumatic and hydraulic circuits. SPDT relay contacts handle load currents up to 10 A for direct motor starter or solenoid valve control.

FAQ

Pressure Transmitter Downloads — FAQ

What technical documents are available for pressure transmitters?
Downloads include datasheets, CE declarations, RoHS certificates, wiring diagrams (4–20mA, 0–10V), dimensional drawings, and ATEX certificates.
Do datasheets specify pressure range and accuracy?
Yes. Every datasheet specifies full-scale range (0–1 bar to 0–1000 bar), accuracy (±0.5% FSO), zero/span offset, and temperature compensation range.
Are hygienic pressure transmitter datasheets available?
Yes. Flush diaphragm models with G1/2, G1/4, and tri-clamp connections for food/beverage include 316L stainless steel and FDA-compliant seal material certificates.
Can I download ATEX certificates for pressure transmitters?
Yes. ATEX II 1/2G Ex ia IIC T4 certified models are available. Download ATEX and IECEx certificates from the hazardous-area product page.
What connector types are shown in the datasheet?
Standard configurations include 2m cable with bare ends, M12 4-pin connector, and G1/4 or G1/2 process threads — all illustrated in the dimensional drawing.
What media can the pressure transmitters measure?
Compatible with water, hydraulic oil, compressed air, steam (with siphon tube), and mild chemicals. For aggressive media such as chlorinated water, acids, or solvents, specify the PTFE-wetted diaphragm or 316L stainless steel diaphragm option when requesting a datasheet or quotation.
What is the output signal of the 4–20 mA transmitter?
Two-wire 4–20 mA current loop output, loop-powered at 8–36 V DC. Also available: 0–10 V voltage output (3-wire, 15–30 V DC), 0.5–4.5 V ratiometric output for direct MCU connection, and RS485 Modbus RTU for multi-drop industrial networks. Output type is specified on the datasheet order code table.
How do I zero-span adjust the transmitter?
Push-button zero/span adjustment (±5% FS range) is accessible through the top of the housing without breaking the process seal. Digital models are configurable via PC software over RS485. Both procedures are documented in the installation guide available on this page.
